Duck and Partners Inc., a full-service boutique communication agency headquartered on Montreal’s North Shore, is among the proud winners of the 4th annual VETTY AWARDS honouring the best advertising, design, digital, experiential and public relations campaigns in animal health across North America.

The winners were revealed on January 20th, at the 2020 VMX Veterinary Meeting Expo presented by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), the world’s leading not-for-profit association dedicated to supporting the global veterinary community. The NAVC introduced the VETTYS in 2017 to recognize and reward the marketing excellence that helps to fuel the rapidly growing animal health industry.

Duck and Partners received a GOLD VETTY AWARD in the Large Animal Print Ad category for an advertisement it created and produced for client Merck Animal Health Canada’s Bovilis® Guardian® cattle vaccine.

Although Duck and Partners is new to this competition (this was its first-ever submission), it has already earned a solid reputation in the Canadian animal health industry.

Founded in 2005, the agency has set itself apart by assembling a team of seasoned professionals with a deep understanding of animal health, in addition to demonstrated creativity and strategic marketing skills.

“Working behind the scenes to help our clients shine has always been our first commitment, and our greatest source of pride – which may be one of the reasons that we hadn’t considered submitting our work to creative competitions… until now,” said Daniel Leduc, President of Duck and Partners. “We’re extremely honoured to have been chosen to receive this prestigious award, and gratified to know that small boutique agencies like ours can successfully compete with larger, well-established agencies from across North America.”

Quipped Mr. Leduc: “Who knows? Based on this first experience, we may be tempted to enter the competition again next year!”
