Ceva Animal Health, the world’s fifth-largest animal health company, has officially opened its new global headquarters in Libourne, France. The purpose-built circular facility is a major milestone for the company, reflecting its strategic ambitions for sustainability, innovation, and global leadership in animal health.

Envisioned in 2020 and now complete, the 11,000 m², four-storey building brings together 450 employees and Ceva’s key strategic operations under one roof. The new HQ supports the company’s growth trajectory, including its objectives to lead in poultry vaccines and advance treatments for emerging diseases by 2030.

Ceva’s European footprint includes 10 research and development centers and 13 manufacturing sites across the continent. Its new headquarters further consolidates this presence while serving as an international flagship facility.

Aligned with Ceva’s #OnePlanet sustainability initiative, the new headquarters incorporates environmentally responsible features such as geothermal energy, a 1,300 m² green roof, and 4,500 m² of solar panels, making the site fully energy self-sufficient. It is expected to earn BREEAM “Very Good” certification—an internationally recognized benchmark for sustainable buildings.

Designed in the shape of Ceva’s logo and surrounded by natural landscaping, the building also supports biodiversity and low-carbon construction practices. A focus on employee well-being shaped the project’s development, with features such as step-free access, pedestrian-friendly walkways, and ample bicycle parking.

Now operating in 47 countries with over 7,000 employees worldwide, Ceva says this new facility will be central to advancing its mission to combat animal disease and promote a sustainable future for the sector.
